FEMSWISS AG was founded in 1996 by electrical engineer Rahim Fardin. What began as a one-man business developed over the years into an internationally active company.
The beginnings
At the outset there was an electrical engineer with an idea and the willingness to take technical tasks into his own hands. Rahim Fardin founded FEMSWISS AG in 1996 – with no apparatus and no departments, but with direct contact to every single client.
This closeness to the client has remained a guiding principle, even as the company later grew considerably larger.
Growing in breadth
Over the years, dedicated divisions were added: a development department, in-house production, along with administration, purchasing and sales. The Swiss business became a company with representatives on four continents.
That period shaped the way we work today. Anyone who develops, manufactures and ships internationally knows where projects tend to fail – and what matters in the planning so that they do not.
Today
Today FEMSWISS AG concentrates on what has grown out of that experience: coaching on technical questions, consulting and planning. Rather than producing ourselves, we accompany our clients through their projects – from the first idea through development to implementation.
The fields we are at home in have stayed the same: laser technology, optoelectronics, communication, sensor technology and software.
